Circuit with ECL components

I'm working with MultiSim 14.0 and have an old schematic with MC105 series devices that I want to build and simulate.

Has anybody worked with this scenario ?

Hello anjames,

In this tutorial, you will find instructions to create custom components in Multisim. However, it is still not clear to me if you want to interface a real sensor or create the component for being used in Multisim.

I want to use the ECL components in a  design file for simulation.

There are ECL libraries available in ORCAD. Can I import an entire library into MultiSim ?

Unfortunately, Multisim is only compatible with Open EDA component library files.

Is there a document that details the Open EDA library file format ? Or does a tool exist that will convert .olb library files to .oecl library ?

Hello!

Navigate to ...<install directory>\National Instruments\Circuit Design Suite <version>\documentation\OECL Format Description.pdf. This document contains detail of the EDA component library.

I do not know if there is a tool to convert from one file format to the other one.
