Power VI

Hello everyone,

I am working on NI USB 6009 interfaced with Labview. I have to do just simple task of obtaining Power values including power factor.

I am giving 6v rms [aslo tried with 10vrm, 8vrms] to NI USB 6009 in ai1 for voltage waverform in labview and also using ACS712 in pin number ai4 for current waveform. As ACS712 gives output in the form of voltage so I am acquiring voltage in DAQ [configuration given in picture].

Now the problem is that when I connect Power VI and read values I am not getting values which I want. I get wrong power factor, wrong active and reactive power etc. Note the load is 1kw heater.

We cannot debug pictures, especially if they contain express VIs and dynamic data. I don't recognize the subVI that does the calculations. Is that from some toolkit? Do you have a link to the documentation?

I still cannot view the properties of your express VI and I don't have the "power" subVI, which seems to be from a toolkit.

What kind of data is contained in the dynamic data wire? We cannot tell!
