Data Accqusition Error

I have a 6062E card and I am accquiring the data at 15Khz and I want to accquire data for 30sec which tranlates to 450,000 samples. I am gathering data from all the 8 channels at this rate.

When I try and write the data to the file It writes only 150,000 samples/ch.

I do get the error number :200284.

Is there a limitation on the card with respect to buffer size for a single accqusition?

The read would be expected to take about 30 seconds to complete, but instead an error is returned after about 10 seconds.  Many of the DAQmx examples have a read timeout value of 10 wired to DAQmx Read.  Checking this value and setting it to something higher than 30 or -1 for an infinite timeout will likely solve your problem.

Your board has a limited onboard buffer, but the size of the buffer on the PC performing the acquisition is only limited by the system's capabilities.

Thanks for the help. That seems to have fixed the problem. My understanding was that -1 would be the default so I had left that unwired.
