Hello

I lost my usb cable of ni 4431.

I tried to use a printer cable but when I use the printer cable faced with "connected device not recognise" error

My question is:

1. Can I use USB 2 AB cable that exist in market or i should buy new USB cable from NI?

2. I couldn't find USB cable details that use for NI USB-4431. Can someone help me?

Thanks

Any good quality USB A to B cable should work, these are standard cables that comply with USB standards

I bought an original HP printer cable but thats not solved the problem.

After a lot of search I find out below information and my problem solved:

Every USB 2.0 Type A to B cables made of 4 wire, 2 wire for data and 2 wire for power.

There is a code for thickness of these wires called AWG

A good cable for NI devices must be

28AWG/2c+22AWG/2c

The second code must start with 22 or lower. It means the power wires are thick enough

For more information about this code you can read below:

The important notice is that second code must start with 22 or lower. this means the power wires are thick enough to supply needed power for the device
