Hi all.
i'm a new at using stepping motor and controller.
My system is made of
1) newport, klinger stepping motor (UE30, now maybe https://www.newport.com/p/UTS150CC)
2) controller (https://www.artisantg.com/PLC/65930-1/Newport_Klinger_CC1_2_A2_Programmable_Stepping_Motor_Controlle...)
3) gpib-usb-hs (http://www.ni.com/ko-kr/support/model.gpib-usb-hs.html)
4) PCI6251 (https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/model.pci-6251.html)
and labview.
I don't know how to use each device and already have read all manuals, but I can't understand those perfectly.
So, where should i start to use those systems...
Any comment is welcome!

Hi lsmq88!
Start by connecting the controller with the motor using the GPIB cable.
After doing so, you need to send commands to the motor from the controller, which can be found in the controller's manual here.
If you want to specify your question by telling us what you've tried so far, that will help us give you a better answer!

(Thanks for your quick answer!)
Hmm, I am confused with your answer.
Do you mean I should connect GPIB cable from linear stage to controller directly?
Now, My system is like this, ( '--' means connected )
linear stage -- controller -- GPIB -- computer(PCI 6251)
So, I can't exactly understand from your answer where GPIB should be connected.

Yes, Sorry if my wording confused you.
That is what I meant to say, you are correct!

No Problem.
I just want to say 'thank you'.

Hello,
Did you get how to control the stepper motor controller with labview? I am in the same situation as you were. I don't find any driver for this device in labview. Would you like telling me how you get it?
Thanks.
