stepper motor control

Hi,

I am new to Labview and NI DAQ card. Currently, i would like to program NI DAQ 6015 to control stepper motor. I use the sample code attached to try out. It was not working as the stepper motor just rotate continously without stop even i change the position in the code.

Can anyone tell me what is the problem?

Hi William,

typically DAQ devices are not a good choice tfor controlling stepper motors. Especially there is no good way to generate a step output signal, that results in both, precise position control and smooth velocity profiling with acceleration and deceleration ramps (this feature is mandatory to be able to reach higher velocity ranges).
