Hello Wallace,

Should I calculate SampleClockPeriod using the following equation

SampleClockPeriod = 1 / SamplingRate ?

Thanks a lot,

JSInc

Hi JSInc,

You are correct.  SampleClockPeriod = 1/SampleClockRate.

Best wishes,

Hello Wallace,

Is Sampling Rate different from Sample Clock Rate? I am using S-series card PXI-6123 sampling at 500k samples/second.

Thank you,

To answer my last question, I did a few tests, it seems the Sample Clock Rate is the same as the on board time base, which is 20MHz for PXI-6123.

Hi JSInc,

The terms sample rate and sample clock rate can be seen as synonymous since one sample (per channel) is acquired with every designated edge of the sample clock.
