NationalInstruments.Common.xml Purpose

In version 17 of NiDAQmx using VS2015 a NationalInstruments.Common.xml file is created in the Debug and Release folders. Does this xml file need to be included in an application release?

Are you able to post the XML file? It'd be easier to answer the question if we could see what information it contains in the first place.

File in question enclosed. Had to change extension to .txt.

This is a NI .NET assembly and should probably be included. The best way to tell if you need this is to try and build without it and see what your results are. You can also find more info on what you may need to include here: http://www.ni.com/tutorial/52522/en/
