Open Clone Reference

For all that were in attendance this week, here is the link to the post I was referencing regarding the possible dangers of opening a reference to a clone VI. See AristosQueue's post number 17. Sounds like the key is to make sure you close that reference when done with it.

Thanks for sharing this, Paul. I would say your summary at the meeting was pretty spot-on. I thought long and hard about how I could properly obtain that reference and it's a dead-end. The good news is that I could refactor a lot of code with not much effort if I needed that static reference as SLM recommends. Also, it's one of the more entertaining threads I have read on the forums.
