Update for Vision Builder AI

Hi,

I'm just wondering if you can tell me when there is likely to be an update/patch release for Vision Builder for AI 2.6.1.

During a system development late last year, through this forum, I was made aware of a 'bug' limiting resolution of the edge detection algorithm. As the system I was constructing was to perform extensometry on gauged wire samples, this was a real problem. Fortunately I was able to work around this limitation using pattern matching techniques, however edge detection would still provide a better solution.

I was hoping an update release, incorporating a fix for this bug, would have happened by now.

Any idea when one is likely?

Unfortunately, updates to VBAI have not been announced yet, so I am unable to tell you what is being planned.  However, the bug reported is being worked on and a fix will be provided as soon as possible.
