Starter Kit 1.0 and Vision

Hello guys,


I am trying to figure out how to make my Starter Kit 1.0 (sbRIO 9631) to use a webcam in order to detect a distant point or shape (ex: red dot or arrow) on a white floor and move towards it. The Pattern tracking and Object tracking VIs I've been using work pretty well; however, I'm losing the target when the depth (distance of the dot to the camera) changes as the camera moves.


Any one have any suggestions to resolve this issue or an alternative solution?
