LabVIEW 8 and Vision Toolkit

Hi:

Can anyone verify that the Vision toolkit (Vision Assistant and IMAQ Vision) works properly with LabVIEW 8? Does one still need to uninstall it first from earlier versions?

Vision Development Module 7.1.1 will not work natively in LabVIEW 8.0; however, we have released a utility that will allow the use of Vision Development Module 7.1.1 in LabVIEW 8.0.  You will have to upgrade to IMAQ 3.5, which is available on the driver CD for LabVIEW 8.0, and no uninstallation other than the previous IMAQ driver is necessary.  You can find the utility at the link below.
