IMAQ VISION FOR USB CAMERAS

Hello,

I installed the software "IMAQ Vision for USB cameras" with Vision Assistant 7.1. In the doc, NI mentioned that it should work for every webcam which complies with DirectShow. I tried with the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000. Although, Vision Assistant "sees" the webcam, I get always the same error : "The settings for this camera are not valid". I tried with several webcams, and got always the same message. This is surprising, since most cameras are DirectShow compatible. Does anybody succeed in using this software ?

I am using exactly that model with vision 7.1 and it runs fine.

Hi all

I have no problems using a Logitech Qc pro 4000 whit vision 7.1 or vision assistant 7.1

Install vision, then qc driver V8.41 and IMAQ for USB.
It runs fine in Windows XP pro SP1.

so I'm using Windows XP SP2, with qc driver 8.41 and IMAQ for USB.
I cant use my webcam on Vision 7.1, the message settings not valid appears everytime.

If it is the camera settings, can anyone give me the correct settings to use it on vision ?

Has anybody already had a fix for this problem. Seems like it is raised by SP2. I suffer the same issues with my creative webcam.

I had problem the same, and my operational system was windows xp professional SP2 português Brazil.

I only obtained to decide the problem changing the operational system for windows pro coorporation english
