cannot create labview vi from vision assistant

When trying to create a labview vi from vision assistant, I get this message:

Migrating this inspection to LabVIEW requires that you have LabVIEW 6.1 or higher and IMAQ Vision 6.1 or higher installed on your machine.
For more information about purchasing these software packages, visit ni.com.

I have labview 7.1.1 installed and imaq must have installed with the vision assistant because it shows up in MAX under software.

How do I make this feature work?

which containted the same problem, however after installing the 7.0.1 update, i still have the same problem.

Hi,

In your first post, you mentioned that you are using LabVIEW 7.1.1.  What version of Vision and the Vision Assistant do you have?

i have run the 7.0.1 update for the vision assistant (however inside the vision assistant software (help->about...) it still indicates 7.0.0)

Hi,

My guess is that Vision Development Module 7.0.1 patch is installed, but not the Vision Assistant patch.  Basically, Vision Assistant 7.0 was released with LabVIEW 7.0.  To generate LabVIEW 7.1 code, you will need to install the following update Vision Assistant 7.0.1.  Once this is done, Vision Assistant should show as 7.0.1.

You are correct.  It is now version 7.0.1 and generating the code.  Thanks.
