CVS Digital I/O

Greetings,

I need to be able to read the TTL input 1 of the CVS (DSUB pin 16). There is an example program ("Static Digital IO" in "NI 1450 Signal IO.llb") that does just this, but when trying to run, there is an "error calling target related software". We use WinXP, LabVIEW 7.1, a CVS-1454 and the FPGA module has been installed.

What is the problem?

Hi,

We have run a test with a CVS 1454 with that VI and it worked without any errors. I ran a jumper wire from pin 11 to pin 16 of the digital IO port, and the change of voltage was read properly
Check to be sure that his LabVIEW RT, NI RIO RT, NI 1450 RT, NI IMAQ for IEEE 1394, and IMAQ Vision RT all match between his host and his target. If so, it may help to reformat and reinstall his software to the CVS.
