1410 New Card

Does anybody knows if the migration from PCI1409 to PCI1410 is going to be direct? I know the PCI1409 is going to be discontinued in few months, I'm concern about having problems with my application once I replace the new card into my existing platform

Does the new card contain four input channels as well?

I can't say if the migration will be direct (maybe someone at NI can) but it does look like it has 4 video inputs. Here is a link to manual for the 1410, you may want to look to see if you will also need new cables:

The PCI-1410 is a direct replacement for the PCI-1409, with identical features and functionality, except for the features noted below. All cables and accessories for the PCI-1409 are compatible with the PCI-1410.

• The PCI-1410 requires NI-IMAQ 3.0 or higher
• The PCI-1410 has a new PLL (phase-locked loop) that no longer requires an external pixel clock signal to acquire from non standard analog cameras. In most cases, only the composite video signal is required to lock to a camera. Some cameras such as the JAI CV-A1/A2 will still require HSync and VSync to be provided to the PCI-1410 board. Upon acquisition, the NI-IMAQ driver will provide a dialog if these signals are necessary.
• VCR acquisition is no longer supported with the PCI-1410. For VCR acquisitions, use the PCI-1405, or PCI/PXI-1411. Use the PCI/PXI-1411 with an S-Video connection to achieve the highest image quality.
