I just installed LabWindows CVI 8.5 on a new computer running XP pro. Everything is working fine except for a 2nd little window that comes up in addition to the CVI environment window when starting CVI. It's basically just a title bar with a system menu that will control the CVI window - but it's very annoying, you can't move the thing, and I'd like to get rid of it.
I’d been running CVI 8.1 on my old computer and never saw this little window before. I do run in a dual monitor configuration most of the time, but it still shows up even with one monitor. No other programs I run have this little companion window. Any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it?
I tried to attach a picture of the little window but it didn't show up when I previewed my message - hopefully it will show after I post.
