The National Instruments DeviceNet driver does install a language interface for CVI in the form of an instrument driver. These functions are then easily used within any CVI project. If you do not use this driver then you can definitely use any other one via the External Module method with an import library. Go to the following link to download NI-DNET:

I don't know what you need , but I know that you can use the C language
function calls provided from Rockwell Software's IOLinx SDK to interface
and communicate through DeviceNet to any device (i/o modules ,drives, OP
terminals...),
