I'm just curious, why posting twice the same stupid question after you've
got a very polite and good answer.

Give details or attach a VI at least ...

p.s.: are you from Caracal ? 🙂

Vladimir,

I think the best graph for this purposes is the XY graph, but actually the graph you are going to use is going to depend in which kind of data are you plotting so you may better have a decision on which kind of data you are going to be handling, then you decide which graph is best for this purposes and then we can try to work in to see how to get the Y and X points from it. Also it seems a little confuse for me to know why would you like to get this values out of a graph if for a first instance you have to input this values to it, so you don't have to go through getting values from a graph if you already have them before going into it, makes sense?

However, I attached here an example with an XY graph, it calculates 100 points of a sine wave,
plots it and then it gets the data from the graph in two separate arrays one for the Y values and one for the X values, look for more details inside the example.

Good luck!....

I saw that you have problems opening the VI posted by Nestor. Here are screen captures containing the block diagram and front panel (because I cannot convert it to 5.1 for you (Property node incompatibility)). Just try to do it the same way.
Good luck!

Man i think that in 5.1 the graphXY does not have a property node.

Vlad,

I apologize for not getting back with the VI saved in 5.1, I'm not in the office these days. But I read your comment on the property node missing in 5.1, well, in 5.1 there were no property nodes, they are called Attribute nodes, but are similar. Right-click over the graph icon in the block diagram and select Create >> Attribute Node. Thanks to the previous enthusiast who helped with the screen shots, we really appreciate this kind of help.

Vlad if you are interested in getting deep knowledge of LabVIEW there are a lot of good books in the market or you can also check our courses page at our Training homepage.

Good luck!...
