Well there is a real "moobe" question (pun intended Smiley Wink )

Kudos are an excuse to tell old sea stories like the time I was drinking in Finale Ligurie Italy and I got locked in the mens room but we were the only customers and the music was loud but I noticed a false ceiling...

But I'll save that one for another day.

Nice to see there is a funny side for this forum, I only come here when I have problems.

Actually this thread is supposed to be for the problems, there is another thread for social interaction, jokes, etc. called the "Breakpoint"

Is it only me or has the Kudos position been changed? I'm usually really tired when I come to work in the morning, and today I spent the first 30 minutes trying to locate the kudos button. And there is was! Down in the corner:

kudos.png

If this is a real change to the forum, I'd say; "Put it back where it used to be!"

On the left side everything looks so "nude". Only the Nickname and a small picture.

Maybe we could put something there instead? A larger picture, or some favourite quotes or something. Or even a personal status like on facebook:)

Regards,
Even

0.00873174921711...

Kudos given / Kudos recieved

I'm curious as to why there is such a low ratio -  keystrokes and dedication to the forum are not lacking- it only takes a mouse click to add kudos- Why?

Where did you take that ratio from, Jeff?  "My" ratio is close to 1:1.  My guess would be, that also your ratio would be almost 1:1.

Given that you can't have one without the other, I'll go out on a limb and say that ratio will even out with a large enough sample size. 😉

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but doesn't that simply mean you haven't given many kudos?

Of course, if you meant R/G, then that probably means you gave too many, at more than 160K kudos (at least compared to the ~850 I currently see in my account, and yes, I only click on very specific things).

You would also need to expand Darin's point and see a distribution of the ratio for all the users on the forums to see where you are on that graph. If you find the information interesting, you can ask Jordan to see if he can extract that data and create the graph.

P.S. That puts me at 0.115 G/R and 8.68 R/G.

I don't think sample size is the issue here-  Its a rather large sample size.

There is a poster on the forums involved in this thread with that kudos given/Kudos received ratio.  I am curious- the poster has certainly demonstrated long term commitment to the community (and I mean nothing negative by the inquery)  But, a long term contributor with 68 kudos given?  and nearly 7000 recieved?  I wonder what I'm missing and wish to explore the subject in greater detail.
