use button to open related vi

Hello,

I would like to be able by clicking a button in the first vi to open another window with a different LabView vi in the exectution mode.  I would like to be able to close the second window and open it again with the same button any time I like.

P.S.  I actually have LabView 2009 (the website did not have that option

yet)

Have you tried a search? This question has come up many times, in fact, it just came up again recently.

Hi vziskin:

Check the attached vis. Save in your system and open Main VI.vi and try to run. If you have any problem then let me know.

you can right click the subvi you want to open and go to subvi Node setup and click show front panel.
