update from excel when a button is pressed

hai guys,

 Would like to know if itz possible to update only certain row of the excel sheet to Labview to be processed.

Example

we enter value in column A1 B1 and C1 in an excell sheet ,can we make programme to detect certain command ( update) button in excel. Only when we press the update button the values will be updated in labview

hope my explanation is clear.

Your question is not clear. Do you

a.) Want a button in excel that when pressed will export data to LabVIEW

                               or

b.) Want a button in a LabVIEW VI that when pressed will retrieve data from an excel spreadsheet. (.xts)

Please also include what version of LabVIEW and Excel you are using.

Then, you can update data from Excel to global variable in this VI, and update to desired VI.
