simulating crane vi

Hello,
I want to draw a vi in which a wheel  motion is translated into the linear motion.The wheel need to move on a single rail.the parameters given are radius on the wheel and the velocity with which it need to move on the rail.
i am having no idea how to implement this rail n wheel concept.please help me.

Some more details would be helpful.

Are you looking for a interactive graphical representation of wheel/rail on the front panel or do you only need the math behind it?

2 Inputs: wheel size and velocity.

What should the output be? (e.g. required wheel RPM)

Hey, your best bet is to use 3D picture controls.  I have seen a lot of cool animations with this and it now comes in LabVIEW 8.2 (anything above Base).  The link below will be a good starting point for how to use this.
