i'm doing a school project...
my lec need me to do the kennel filter..
he want me to develop the block diagram for "learn, match and remove particles"..
but i have no idea on how to do it...
pls help...

i now develop a block diagram to play avi file..
and substract the frame with the previous frame to get the motion of the object..
after i get the result of motion, my lecturer tell me to remove the particles to improve the edge detection efficiency.
that all the things i knew...
So, i need help from u all...

Hi wuliao23,

It sounds like your lecturer wants you to apply a kernel filter to the image.  You can do this using the IMAQ Convolute VI, which is part of the Vision Development Module.  The Kernel input of this VI allows you to specify the type of filter that is applied to the image.  Different kernels are discussed at length in the Vision Concepts Manual.
