programmatically export selected area of table to string array

i am able to programmatically select an area of a table using property nodes selsize and selstart however once i have the area selected i cant seem to export the data to a string array. tried value property node. just returns all the data, not the data i am interested in. help much appreciated.

you can use "Array Subset" to get the part you need.
