I'm trying to use the Polhemus PDI to control a Liberty system in Labview 7.0. The PDI config data.vi always output 0 as Sensor frame size. Do you know why?

I'm also trying to understand how the data are stored in the pBuf generated from PDI config setbuffer.vi. Is the BINHDR included in this array or not?

Dear Marco,

If you downloaded the intrument driver from here Polhemus pdi LabVIEW Instrument Driver (Wrapper Only) you should check your labview version.
The instrument driver page states as minimum requirements Labview 7.1 it appears you're using 7.0.

Please note that as stated in the Download page

"This instrument driver is provided "as is" and is NOT supported nor maintained by National Instruments or a third party.

Instrument driver wrappers provide interface to drivers developed in other programming environments. If there is a required third party installation included below, you will need to install it in addition to the wrapper files available on this page".

It means that National Instruments is not directly involved in the development and maintenance process of this driver.

You can and should ask also to the vendor of your device for further information.

Best Regards

FiloP
