plot legend disappear

Dear friends,

I am using Labview 8.2.1

Recently I came across a strange behaviour of XY Graph. Some times the Graph Plot Legend, Palette just disappear from the tab in which i am using this graph. I am attaching a picture of this.

This seems to be a bug. Please suggest any fix.

Any thoughts Please. I am in the middle of a project and am currently struck due to this problem.

Without seeing your code. I would have to guess that there is a property node or something that is causing this behavior. Is there a way to attach your code so that we can look it over? If not I would suggest that you search for all instances of the graph (local variables, References etc..) and look for something that can effect this. Just attaching the graph do not help in troubleshooting your problem.

oops.......i found some odd behavior with the VI provided here.............i tried to place some controls on Front panel..but they are disappearing..i tried to set visible property to true..........still.....not visible on Front panel.............strange VI................

Hi,

It is indeed tough to tell you what the error might be without having a look at your code. I'm not very sure if this is a software bug. It'll be really helpful if you attach your code here for reference.

Hi every1,

Nice vi Ssingh1. If you observe carefully, delete that graph and then run your vi , then controls on front panel will not disappear.There is something that has been done with the graph.

I would definitely like to know.

See this vi. now graph palette and control does not disappear. Atleast on my computer. tell me if you get the same result.

Thanks for your replys.

Aeastet - I could not attach the complete code as it is very lage and distributed in many Vi's. However I would like to inform that I am certainly using Local Variables and Property nodes to set somethings on graph. For local variable I just connected History to constant to make the graph blank in the begining. I am attaching photos of all of them for your referance.

Gaurav - I could not open the VI sent by you as it is in the newer version of LV. However please tell if you have done something to correct the problem.

one attachment more. For the timebeing i have deleted the graph and copied it again from backup. But it is certainly a problem
