no connection "required" for VI outputs?

My bad, I thought LV was supposed to let the user develop their own software and handle errors as they saw fit 🙂

But then I never read the EULA and just click on the "Accept" buttons like a fool.

I don't think the argument that automatic error handling will reduce support requirements for novice users holds much water. But maybe it is supported by hard data...

And I should add, if somebody chooses not to handle errors automatically, then this "require output error terminals to be connected" option could be made available.
