Hi,

In my current project, i am using Labview for GUI Developement.

for the time being, i am working with Labview Evaluation Version 2009.

I created and saved a Prototype GUI using some Color Boxes, LEDs, Keys etc, after closing

and reopening the Project and VI files, the GUI and LED Colors Become Black.

that means i am unable to save the color information of the GUI.

Anybody Please Comment on this Issue.

Hi favasktr,

Whenever any VI is opened at the first time,it will be loaded with the default values of all the controls present on front panel or gui...So you just make all the colors or colorinforamtion default for the particular indicators...It will be useful if you post your code also here..

Thanks and regards,

Hi SriKrishna,

Thank you very much for your reply.

But how can i change the color to its default? For example if i am using Framed Color Box.

Also, How Can i Put Labels to Keys and LED's with Transparent Background?

You set the colorbox and everything else the way you like, then do a "menu...edit...make current values default". (Typically, you don't need to do that for colorings, though.) However, for colorboxes, the color is the value and black is the default, so this advice applies.

In the case of arrays, they revert to empty. So make the arrays the correct size and save as defaults.

If you are still confused, attach your VI.

The transparent color is selected with the [T] square in the upper right corner of the color palette.

(Also, next time pick a more appropriate title for the post. Every post here deals with LabVIEW so it is not informative at all.)

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

but i am a bit confused about your second reply Smiley Happy.

I required to change the background color of the label to that of background. I used the Label Control Palete to Label.

Then how can i adjust the Font Size,Color etc ?

Favas.

Hi,

The font size, color can be adjusted by the settings from the menubar itself on the front panel...On the front panel...in the menu bar under the view(menu)..you will find the tools pallette...use that and also for font settings..there will be a big menu which will show the fonts(by default Application font)..

Still you are confused attach your Vi.

Thanks and regards,
