labview installation

hi everyone, excuse me I install labview 2018 but there r something not install like "find examples" in "help" tab, so how can I fix?

Where did you get LabVIEW 2018 from and what exactly did you select for installation?

 

Can you open "NI MAX" and expand the software tab and all branches in it. Show us a screenshot.

I'm guessing that LabVIEW did not install properly, and that you are missing the NI Service Locator (which is a Windows Service that should be running).  I agree with Altenbach that we need to know (a) what you installed, (b) where you got the files to install, (c) which "version" (Student, Base, Full, etc.) you installed, and (d) the screenshot from MAX showing the expanded Software Tab.

Bob, are there actually different versions? I thought it was just 1 installer and then features are enabled depending on the license you enter, but I have no experience with anything other than Professional and Home.

I think you are correct about what "really happens" -- my terminology was sloppy.  But I can imagine that the Student Version has "reduced capacity" and might not "play well with others", for example ...

No, the student version is not reduced, but enhanced (e.g. includes Mathscript).
