how to creat 3D graph by labview

I intend to creat a 3D model in labview using plane laser range finder(LMS200) ,it taking horizontal 2D laser scans of an object, each at a different height. I really dont know how to do it .but i found some people had already finished this work by labview, like the picture upload. In the picture left is a profile of object horizontal plane and right is 3D graph by moving laser scans up and down.
I want to know how to achieve this 3D graph.
please give me some opinion or some examples.
thanks.

If you do a search for '3d graphs' in Labview examples there are quite a few that should get you going. I've just had a play around with one and it appears to be relatively straight forward, and the help for the 3d graphs is also fairly good.

Good Luck

I agree with David's comments about the 3-d graph.

I start a multi-part posting exaplining how to do something very similar to what I hear you asking.

Here is a preview of the results.

If this example helps you, could you please post a simple example that demonstrates how you solved the Q.

I am still trying to collect more example for the 3-d graph.
