Hello,

Is it possible for labview to find the maximum value of a function? The function contains 2 variables, and all of them changes from -inf to +inf. If labview can achieve them, how to do it? Thanks in advance!

Why certainly! Just look in the Math subpallete, and you will find "zeros and extrema" vi. Alternatively, you could save the function as a waveform and use the wave max/min vi.
