How do I find out which version a VI was developed in?

Right-click on the block diagram, navigate to the "Application Control" palette, and select the "Invoke Node" item. By default the class selected is the Application class. All you need to do is left-click on the "Method" box and that will pop up a long menu. Select the "Get VI Version" menu item, and wire in a path to the VI.
