error 43 code file opening

Dear Sir/madam,

I'm having this error 43 code appear again and again whenever I want to read my text file as shown in the block diagram picture attached. Sometimes it works other times it just doesn't work how can i fix this please help???

Do you try to access a file, that is hosted on your computer, from you myRIO?

That is not possible, transfer the file to you myRIO and use a local file path on the myRIO.

I have now put the text file on the MyRIO device but still it wont work please have a look at the screen shot below.

Hi rehan,

general advice: when you want to attach images then please attach those images! (Use PNG for block diagram, and maybe JPG for frontpanels. Or attach snippets…)

Why do you need to hide those images within a proprietary Office file format!?

On your problem:

Now you get a "file not found" error!

Why do you place the file in this folder? Is this folder even accessable from your myRIO?

Why don't you place the file in the "data" subfolder next to your RTEXE? That's the place where it is placed from AppBuilder by default!

In addition to everything that Gerd already mentioned:

The root directory from the view point of myRIO is / not /R, so your path should be /home/lvuser/...
