Hi ive got a agilent 34970A scanner and a 3458A multimeter. i connect these to the computer using gpib and using a ni gpib usb-hs lead. using NI 2011 my code works. I downloaded all the labview vi for the agilent off of the net they work on labview 8 and higher. but the problem is i need to make them work in labview 7 so i opened labview 7 and recreated all of the files in 7. everything works except when i try to take a measurment. i get error 1073807339 come out from visa read in one of my vi. can you guys help. i can upload my programme if needed. i have set up the two agilent so that i can have 8 channels on the scanner and the multimeter can take any reading from any channel. thanks again

Hi Joe,

your error is a timeout error. So no answer is arriving from the DMM or something similar...

Why don't you go to the downconvert thread to get the driver VIs downconverted to LV7?

ok i have done that but. i cant upload all the vi's  because there about 40 of them. how else can i get around this problem. thanks
