err (1055) using .net 1.0

Hi All,

I am trying to write a remote .NET client using evaluation version of
LabView 7.0 Express.
I have the following description for what i am doing: Using the .NET
palette, I added a constructor whose output is wired to
an Invoke node with a method Connect, which returns an object. This object's
reference is being wired to the input of another invoke node (the moment i
connect it, it displays the correct Class name for this object). But, when i
run the .vi, i am seeing err (1055) coming out of the second invoke node
(err 1055 says that the object reference is invalid.) i am totally at loss
as to what is happening here. I appreciate any help that i can get.
(I had the err (1175) which i could remove after adding the required dll in
the path)
.

Thanks in advance,
raghav.

Do you have some sample code that I could try out on my machine? Is this your own assembly or are you calling one of the built in functions?

Let me know

Hello

Sorry I didnt check this post for a while, I didnt get an email for this, I was wondering what happened. Try using this link to send it in. Use email as communication method Usually you get a notification telling you that support has received an email. Kinda curious if you got such a notification

I have exactly same problem. I added DLL's to GAC so that .net DLL's can be shared by different applications such as LV and TS. But, I still get the 1055 error. If I call the DLL functions in pure TS or LV environment there is no error. I think there is a problem sharing between LV and TS.
