i have labview 6.1.if i want to buy datalogging and supervisory control which version is appropriate for that.can i install version7.0 on that?

The version of LabVIEW DSC always has to match the version of LabVIEW. The best solution would be to upgrade LabVIEW to version 7.0 and install LV DSC 7.0 on top of that.

The difference between BridgeVIEW and LabVIEW DSC in terms of packaging is the fact that BridgeVIEW was a standalone product while LabVIEW DSC is a module that installs on top of an existing LabVIEW installation.
