cluster od data socket variable

We have a  lot of variable of datasocket variable  bounded to a Siemens  PLC OPC Server
We bounded them using the property window of the control
to make our vi's more clear we would have like to make cluster of those variable

unfortunately, it seems that when we  insert a control inside the cluster and we go to data bound et create z link
using thr browse button and click on OK, the link is not saved
is it normal

is there another way to do this

unfortunalely we cannot since it is not saved by Labview

But I think you can try on your system the same thing as me

a create several control with an Data Socket Data binfing

after this you frag and drop them to a cluster and you will see the binding dissappered

Hi,

In fact, when you move the control (or indicator) into a array or cluster, the link to a datasocket varable are lost because you can not set a data-binding for an element inside of an array or cluster.

You can found this informaiton on this link : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/CAA941B654D39EE08625707E0063D18B?OpenDocument
