I would like to know how to create chm and hlp file.  They are help help file that I can call up in labview.  At the beginning, I thought they are just html files, but it seems like

I'm attempting to build a compiled HTML help file for my application at the moment.

I'm using Microsoft's free HTML Help Workshop.

Unfortunately it's a complete pain to use, and ironically, the help documentation that comes with it is pathetic.

If you find some brilliant/easy way to create compiled HTML help files, please let me know.

Here is one I was researching. You have to pay for it but it does come with a free trial. Can't vouch for it as I haven't tried it yet.
