cdf file

I am migrating from labview 2016 to labview 2021 and from pharlab to linux. 

in my labview 2016, i can see labview generate cdf file (version info) and it is not for labview 2021 sp1. 

What am i missing?

Note: CDF support for all CompactRIOs ends in the 2021 NI Software Release and for all PXIs ends in the 2022 NI Software Release. To continue using application components, please migrate to ipks and refer to NI Linux Real-Time and opkg: Introduction to ipks.

i see that CDF is now replaced with control file. is LabView 2021 able to generate control file or is that something that i have generate manually? 

i am able to generate ipk but the ipk does not contain control file.

I found the control file, /var/lib/opkg/info
