Hello,

I am trying to follow the instructions in the attached file. but I get an error "an error occurred trying to load the assembly", in the step on page 7.

Can you help with these?

Hi BaJa,

are you using LabVIEW2012 as written in this manual?

If the answer is "No!" then please tell us the LabVIEW version and bitness…

Best regards,
GerdW

So there are two problems with your LabVIEW version:

  1. it's not LV2012 as written in the manual
  2. it's not the 32bit version of LabVIEW

While the first item can be tolerated, the second item is (most probably) the source of your problems!

Switch to the 32bit version of LabVIEW - or ask ThorLabs for a new version of their hardware driver with support for 64bit LabVIEW…

Best regards,
GerdW
