XY graph

Why is it that when I try to graph data using an XY graph, instead of plotting points, the graph's window changes on the first time around, and from there on nothing happens?

Considering you did not provide any information as to what you're actually doing, there's little that can be offered as to explanation. Why don't you go ahead and post your code to see if it might be a programming error. If the code is too large, snip out the part dealing with the graph and post that. Then we will be better able to help.

In addition, make sure the two axis are autoscaling.

  • What is different between the first time and subsequent times?
  • Does the graphing happen in a loop?
  • How does the window "change" (does it get better or worse)?
  • What form is you data? Do you use the xy graph express VI?
  • What do you expect to happen instead of nothing?
  • Make sure to select a plot type with points, else you won't see anything if there is only one point on the graph.

Pleass attach a simplified version of your code that shows the problem.
