Has the scaling method changed for an XY graph between LabVIEW 7 and LabVIEW 2014? I have a program from LabVIEW 7 that I'm upgrading to LabVIEW 2014 and the scaling behavior is different. I'm trying to determine the reason and wondered if there was some change that I can't find documented.

Dennis,
I don't have version 7 so I can't provide an example. The x-scale is a date code. When I put the same data into the 2014 version the data is plotted correctly, but the axis max and min are different. The desire is that the upgraded version display the data exactly like the previous version. The scale is set to autoscale.
Thanks for your help.

There is a setting called Loose Fit that I believe was added sometime after LV 7. Perhaps that is the difference in your case.

I can't show the difference with only 2014. I'm going to see if I can take a screen shot from the executable from 7 and from 2014 and crop so only the chart shows, getting rid of any proprietary info.

Yes.There is extremely too much proprietary information in the code.
I have attached the screenshots to this post. I believe that they show the problem. In this case Loose Fit is unchecked.

And here it is with Loose Fit checked.

The graph looks the same. It takes looking closely to notice the dates are off by a day. Odds are, something changed in the past ten years with whatever algorithm you're using to set the date. Take a look at that.
