Why sample rate is different than I set up?

Instead on my pc I can't change the sample rate. I don't understand the reason of it

What's your device? Look in the manual to see what rates are supported.

Thanks a lot, you were on right: the sample rate was too slow, I didn't recognize it could be a problem since the simulated device I used was the 9234 and in the specification sheet it is written just the max sample rate.Anyway thank you very much!

Another question: the sample rate doesn't match perfectly, but it is slighly different, as example I set up 5000 sample/sec and on the saved data I got a sample rate of 5100Hz. Is it normal?
