I didn't see this mentioned yet. There are two different vision / camera libraries available. Vision Acquisition Software will allow you to collect images from a camera and has some very basic image functions.
Vision Development Module has many more image processing functions, for a much higher price. It looks like VAS is a perpetual license right now, while VDM is subscription.
Regardless of which one you use on your development PC, if you deploy an application to a different PC that target PC will need the corresponding deployment license.
