Virtual Channel error

I am attempting to create a simple virtual channel in MAX to generate a digital output. I keep getting a timing error but I can't find the source of the error. I am sure there is a simple fix but I'm a novice and can't figure it out on my own. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

Error -200077 occurred at DAQ Assistant

Possible Reason(s):

Requested value is not a supported value for this property. The property value may be invalid because it conflicts with another property.

Property: SampTimingType

Requested Value: Sample Clock

You Can Select: On Demand

Did you search for that error code or message? It is a common one.

Whatever hardware you have (and why did you not provide that essential information?), only supports software timed I/O. You simply cannot use any timing function.
