Use of DAQ VIs from LabVIEW 6.1 in LabVIEW 8.5

I am transferring an application from LabVIEW 6.1 into LabVIEW 8.5.  The applications is complex and interfaces with analogue and digital I/O channel of various types mounted in an SCXI chassis.  Is there any way that I can configure 8.5 to accept and run the previous NI-DAQ drivers, or am I forced to re-write the code to employ the NI-DAQmx architecture?

All you should have to do is install the traditional DAQ driver. It's on the driver disk or you can download it from http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/fn/p/lang/en.

I guess I should have kept my eyes open when installing 8.5 in the first place.  All is well now and the DAQ references compiled with no errors
