Thank you Michelle,
Here is my e-mail: tzvetkov.t@neschllc.com
However the question is still open. If the two libraries are needed in Vision why they do not install at the time Vision Development module is installed? Or if they are not included
in the standard Vision Development Module, why the library is looking for them?
Additionally most if not every of the VIs in these libraries have a VI with the same name in other vision sub library. If I install the two files will it be source for a conflict: i.e.. having two VIs with the same name
loaded simultaneously in the memory.

Tochko

Hello Dave,
I am upgrading a big application from labview 7.1 to labview 8.6. Some of the dynamic vi's are using vision vi's.
In the programming environment the application seems to work fine (i wasn't able to test the dynamic vision vi's yet), but when i try to build an application some vi's in the Preallocated.llb can't be found. They are member of the NI_Vision_Development_Module.lvlib and can't be found on the harddisk. (NI vision 8.6 is installed)
I do not use any real time stuff.
If i create a new lvlib of the vision directory i have the same problem (vi's not found).
Thanks in advance,
Ad Dekkers

Hi DJ Dave,
The installation of Real -Time does not help. Moreover it should not be an issue if one does not have purchased Real-Time. Anyway for me the missing libraries warning disappeared only when Michelle sent me the missing lib files.
Hope this helps,
Tochko

Hi DjDaveNI,
I think I have agreed to close the service request. However non of the questions ware completely resolved. We just have found workarounds. Instead of upgrading 8.5 I have installed 8.6 on a clean, from NI software, machine. Installing Real-Time & Real-Time support for NI-Vision does not help with Preallocated.llb. The only way to have warnings disappear is to copy the two files manually to vision library folder.
The reality is that I do not even need these two libraries and do not have license to use them. The initial question was why Labvew development system even is looking for them if I do not use them.
I have kept the Preallocated.llb & Timed Environment.llb to make Pease with LV development system not of any other necessity.
Hope this helps.
