When updating 8.5 Full to 8.6 Professional, I get the following error;

 

ERROR: a file, directory, or other piece of data could not be found (Error code = -32)

 

The install/update fails.

 

What is this error?

That was helpful.  I told the installer to skip the drivers and now the installation is proceeding.  I'll go back for the drivers after.
