But I don't think it's my code, because it worked well during 1 hour. I had the error when I closed LabVIEW and then I tried my code again and the error came back...

I can't reproduce the crash either.  Everything in your VIs is standard and I have never seen this crash before.  Can you reproduce the same crash on another computer?

I also attached a modified version of the DSC Event Structure example VI.  This may be a more efficient way of displaying your alarms.  You can test the VI by simply adding it to your project and running it while your main panel is running.

Hi Nick,

I don't know either why I have this error. I didn't try on another computer because I don't have the DSC module install on it. We are suppose to receive the DSC module today or tomorrow so I'll try it on another computer.

  Ok.  Last try.  I have a bunch of modified copies of the examples on my computer.  (Even the last post will work, you just have to point it back to the correct example program folder.)

Hi Nick,

I looked at your code and it's working with no error (so, I guess the problem is in my code..!?).

It's not exactly what I want to do. I'd like to change your code but I don't really understand it. There's no information about the Format Alarm Data.vi so I don't know what it's doing exactly. Also, I have no idea what is a Refnum.

But thanx anyway, I hope I'll find what is the problem in my code.
